About Peter

Peter Schuyler
I was born in a well-to-do family whose idea of roughing it was hooking one’s drive on the fourth hole of the Denver Country Club golf course.
Catholic school taught me how to lie and feel very guilty about being human. College taught me that if you don’t have money in this country you are in a world of hurt.
I have worked in a bank, tried to sell gem stones wholesale, ran a small investment company and produced a movie that I wrote and starred in. (It’s a sore point I don’t like to talk about).
I have written screen plays, stage plays, short stories, poems and a never ending novel-with luck, I may actually finish it one day. I am currently working on an opera.
I live in Los Angeles with my wife and step-daughter.
